Alleviate is an interdisciplinary collaboration with students from the Product Development and Inte-grative Technology programme at Copenhagen School of Design and Business and Kintsugi Design by Vanessa Carpenter, ph.d.

The project explores the digital as a material; digital technologies influences the design process, the fin-ished design and how it is worn.

 

Our focus is on digital jewelry targeting women experiencing menopause; what specific challenges do women experiencing menopause meet in daily life? How can their experiences lead to insights and inspire, so that we can design and develop new types of wear-ables, that help relieve the symptoms of menopause?
