HOT MESS REDESIGN
EMPATHIZE
In the initial emphasizing phase I conducted a brand analysis of ourbrand Hot Mess, seeking to identify strengths and weaknesses to further develop and im-prove the collection and branding.
The brand analysis examines the Marketing Mix and in-cludes a SWOT analysisto identify the brand’s strengths and weaknesses and evaluate its target audience.
DEFINE
The brand analysis led to a redefinition of both per-sona, POV, changehypothesis and designdrivers.
I looked to Adorn Insight macro reports for 2024 as the original collection was designed one year prior and thus needed an update.
IDEATE
When sketching I focused on short necklaces and rings, and decided to cut some styles, to make the new collec-tion match data reports from Adorn Insight, which showed short earrings, necklaces and rings to hit top sales.
PROTOTYPE AND TEST
A selection of the uredesigned Hot Mess collection with new enamelcolors, and new rings and necklaces. The collection offers the possibilityto mix and match. The rings also exist in silver only, for the possibility of mixing metals.
